Menus

The menus are discussed with residents and are changed to meet residents’ wishes.  Although there is one main choice of meal at lunch time we are a small enough home to be able to know likes and dislikes, and if someone does not like, or cannot eat something, then an acceptable alternative is always discussed with them and served.  Special diets are catered for and needs are discussed before someone is admitted.

We have two cooks who work alternately throughout the day to provide good, wholesome homemade and fresh meals.  Food should be enjoyed and something to look forward to and our cooks go out of their way to make sure that this is the case.  We are lucky because we get all the lovely smells from the cooking which certainly increases appetite!

Meals can be flexible and can be eaten when required.  Snacks and drinks are served throughout the day and on request.
